City Garden Montessori School is hosting a community-wide Block Party on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
The Block Party will serve as the Grand Opening of our new building at 4209 Folsom Avenue – City Garden Montessori’s brand new Elementary and Adolescent Education Center – serving first through eighth grade students.
Last May City Garden hosted The Community Reveal – the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Elementary and Adolescent Education Center. It was a pleasure to be joined by Mayor Tishaura O. Jones, Alderwoman Tina “Sweet-T Pihl,” Alderwoman Marlene Davis, students, families, and community partners.
Registration is free, but required! This year’s Block Party will feature food trucks from Five Aces BBQ, Mothers on Wheels, drinks, family friendly activities, student speakers, and entertainment by Dre Dre & Coast, featuring City Garden staff members Mr. Norman Williams III and Mr. Robert Nelson!
